This peaceful cabin, located in the beautiful hills near Boone and Blowing Rock, NC, was newly renovated in August 2017! First built in November 2009, this energy efficient log cabin, named Mount Sinai, is the mountaintop experience you have been awaiting. Enjoy an afternoon spent rocking on the covered porch, while overlooking rolling hills featuring cows and a red barn. This is a serene view you won’t want to leave.
Our Retreats
Mount Sinai is the perfect get-away to host that much-need retreat for your organizations, ministries and groups. Nestled in the mountains near Blowing Rock and Boone, NC, guests can come and breathe in the mountain air to rejuvenate their mind, body and soul, all the while resting in the presence of God. Guests can fellowship with others or just spend some time by themselves with the Lord in a very peaceful and beautiful sanctuary.

Over ten years ago I was blessed to build this cabin to rent it out through VRBO and Airbnb. Last year, through a leadership program call the Master’s Program, I took a “Journey of Generosity Course” that helped me to evaluate every aspect of my life from spiritual to financial and to relational. After much introspection and prayer, God laid on my heart to open this cabin as a retreat for different organizations, ministries and groups. Those who come can breathe in the mountain air to refresh their souls, to be able to have space and margin to look at strategic planning and to have their dreams come to fruition in such a sweet sanctuary.
